GlobeVis respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide when using our website, applications, and services.
This Privacy Policy explains how GlobeVis collects, uses, stores, and protects information, including information obtained through Google and YouTube APIs.
GlobeVis provides interactive geographic visualization tools, including visitor globes and audience visualization services.
The GlobeVis YouTube Globe allows YouTube channel owners to connect their YouTube account and display geographic information about their audience on an interactive globe.
Depending on the GlobeVis service you use, we may collect limited technical and account-related information necessary to operate the service.
This information may include:
GlobeVis uses Google APIs and YouTube APIs to access information authorized by the user.
GlobeVis requests read-only access to YouTube Analytics data. This access is used solely to retrieve information necessary to create and update the user's YouTube audience globe.
GlobeVis does not use YouTube API access to upload, modify, or delete videos, comments, playlists, or other YouTube content.
GlobeVis does not request or receive your Google or YouTube password.
Information obtained from YouTube APIs is used only for purposes directly related to the GlobeVis service, including:
GlobeVis's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can review Google's policy at: Google API Services User Data Policy .
GlobeVis does not sell Google or YouTube user data.
We do not sell personal information obtained through Google or YouTube APIs to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers only when reasonably necessary to operate and secure the GlobeVis service or when disclosure is required by law.
GlobeVis may store information necessary to maintain a user's connection to YouTube and operate the YouTube Globe.
This may include a channel identifier, authorization tokens, geographic analytics information, and GlobeVis service identifiers.
We retain this information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the GlobeVis service or comply with applicable legal and security requirements.
When a user connects a YouTube channel, Google may provide GlobeVis with OAuth access and refresh tokens.
These tokens allow GlobeVis to retrieve authorized YouTube Analytics information without requiring the user to reconnect the channel each time the globe is updated.
OAuth credentials are used only for providing the GlobeVis service authorized by the user.
Users may revoke GlobeVis's access to their Google account at any time through Google's account security settings.
Google account permissions can be reviewed and removed at:
https://myaccount.google.com/connections
After access is revoked, GlobeVis will no longer be able to retrieve new YouTube Analytics information for that channel.
Users may request deletion of information associated with their connected YouTube channel.
To request deletion, contact GlobeVis and identify the YouTube channel or GlobeVis service connection that should be removed.

After verifying the request where necessary, we will remove the corresponding stored GlobeVis account information, authorization credentials, and associated YouTube Analytics data that we are not legally required to retain.
A user may choose to make a GlobeVis visualization publicly accessible or embed it on a website.
Information displayed publicly may include aggregated audience statistics such as geographic locations and numbers of views.
GlobeVis does not intentionally display personally identifiable information about individual YouTube viewers.
GlobeVis uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect stored information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no Internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
GlobeVis may use cookies, server logs, and similar technologies when necessary for website functionality, security, authentication, analytics, and service operation.
GlobeVis may rely on third-party services required to provide its functionality, including Google, YouTube, mapping providers, hosting providers, and payment processors.
These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
GlobeVis is not designed specifically for children under the age required to independently consent to online services in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the GlobeVis YouTube Globe service.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal requirements, or third-party API requirements change.
The current version will always be published on this page with its effective date.
