GlobeVis provides interactive geographic visualization tools that display website visitor locations and audience information on interactive 3D globes.
GlobeVis integrations are available for multiple website platforms, including Webflow, as well as other GlobeVis products and integrations.
The GlobeVis YouTube Globe allows YouTube channel owners to connect their YouTube account and display geographic information about their audience on an interactive globe.
The information processed by GlobeVis depends on the service or integration being used.

GlobeVis for Webflow is a Hybrid Webflow App consisting of a Webflow Designer Extension and a server-side integration using Webflow APIs.
When a user installs GlobeVis for Webflow, the user authorizes GlobeVis through Webflow OAuth. GlobeVis receives authorization information necessary to identify and operate the integration for the authorized Webflow site.
GlobeVis does not receive or store the user's Webflow password.
GlobeVis may process and store the following information for an authorized Webflow installation:
Webflow OAuth tokens are stored server-side and are not exposed in the published website's client-side code.
Stored Webflow OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. They are used only to perform operations authorized by the Webflow user and required to provide the GlobeVis integration.
GlobeVis for Webflow installs visitor-tracking functionality on the authorized Webflow site. This functionality is required for GlobeVis to determine the approximate geographic locations of website visits and display those locations on the site's interactive visitor globe.
The GlobeVis tracking integration is applied at the Webflow site level through Webflow's Custom Code functionality.
When a visitor loads a published Webflow page containing the GlobeVis integration, a visitor event may be sent to GlobeVis infrastructure at globevis.net.
The visitor's IP address may be processed temporarily by the GlobeVis server in order to determine an approximate geographic location. The raw visitor IP address is not stored in the GlobeVis visitor database.
Instead, GlobeVis may store a non-reversible hash derived from the IP address together with information required to display and manage visitor activity.

This information is used to provide the website owner with the GlobeVis visitor visualization, including visitor locations and recent or historical visitor activity.
GlobeVis does not use website visitor information to build advertising profiles and does not sell website visitor data.
GlobeVis uses Webflow's authorized APIs to register and apply the production code necessary to provide visitor tracking and the interactive visitor globe.

The interactive visitor globe is loaded from GlobeVis infrastructure at:

These resources are required solely to provide the GlobeVis functionality selected by the site owner.
The GlobeVis Designer Extension allows an authorized Webflow user to add the Visitor Globe element to a Webflow page.
The extension creates a Webflow element that identifies the location where the GlobeVis visitor visualization should be displayed.
GlobeVis does not use the Designer Extension to modify unrelated website content or unrelated customer code.
When a Webflow user disconnects or uninstalls GlobeVis, GlobeVis removes the GlobeVis custom-code integration from the authorized Webflow site.
GlobeVis also deletes the stored Webflow installation record and associated OAuth authorization data from the GlobeVis backend and deactivates the site's GlobeVis registration.
GlobeVis removal is limited to GlobeVis resources. GlobeVis does not intentionally remove, overwrite, or modify unrelated custom code or other content belonging to the Webflow customer.
A site owner may also contact GlobeVis to request deletion of stored information associated with a GlobeVis installation.
GlobeVis uses Google APIs and YouTube APIs to access information authorized by the user.
GlobeVis requests read-only access to YouTube Analytics data. This access is used solely to retrieve information necessary to create and update the user's YouTube audience globe.
GlobeVis does not use YouTube API access to upload, modify, or delete videos, comments, playlists, or other YouTube content.
GlobeVis does not request or receive your Google or YouTube password.
Information obtained from YouTube APIs is used only for purposes directly related to the GlobeVis service, including:
GlobeVis's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

GlobeVis uses information only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the GlobeVis service requested by the user.
Depending on the service, this may include:
GlobeVis does not sell Webflow authorization data, website visitor data, Google user data, or YouTube user data.
GlobeVis does not sell personal information obtained through its platform integrations to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
Information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, mapping, or other service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate and secure GlobeVis, or when disclosure is required by law.
GlobeVis does not permit service providers to use GlobeVis customer data for their own advertising purposes.
GlobeVis stores information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable GlobeVis service, maintain security, resolve technical issues, or comply with applicable legal requirements.
Webflow authorization information is retained while the Webflow integration remains authorized and is deleted from the GlobeVis installation records when the integration is disconnected or uninstalled.
Website visitor records may be retained to provide recent and historical visitor visualization to the site owner. GlobeVis visitor datasets are operational datasets and may be limited or rotated as necessary for service operation.
Users may request deletion of stored GlobeVis data at any time using the contact information below, subject to information that must be retained for legitimate legal or security requirements.
GlobeVis may receive OAuth credentials when a user authorizes an integration such as Webflow, Google, or YouTube.
OAuth credentials are used only for providing the integration authorized by the user.
GlobeVis does not request or store the user's password for Webflow, Google, or YouTube.
Webflow OAuth tokens used by the GlobeVis Webflow integration are stored server-side and encrypted at rest.
Users may revoke GlobeVis's access to their Google account at any time through Google's account security settings.
Google account permissions can be reviewed and removed at:

After access is revoked, GlobeVis will no longer be able to retrieve new YouTube Analytics information for that channel.
Users may request deletion of information associated with their GlobeVis service, Webflow installation, or connected YouTube channel.
To request deletion, contact GlobeVis and identify the site, installation, channel, or GlobeVis service connection that should be removed.

After verifying the request where necessary, GlobeVis will remove the corresponding stored account or installation information, authorization credentials, and associated service data that GlobeVis is not legally required to retain.
A user may choose to make a GlobeVis visualization publicly accessible or embed it on a website.
Information displayed publicly may include geographic locations, visitor activity, or aggregated audience statistics depending on the GlobeVis product being used.
GlobeVis does not intentionally display raw visitor IP addresses on public visitor globes.
GlobeVis does not intentionally display personally identifiable information about individual YouTube viewers.
GlobeVis uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect stored information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Authorization credentials for supported integrations are kept server-side rather than intentionally exposed through published website code.
However, no Internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
GlobeVis may use cookies, session storage, server logs, and similar technologies when necessary for website functionality, visitor counting, security, authentication, analytics, and service operation.
GlobeVis may rely on third-party services required to provide its functionality, including Webflow, Google, YouTube, mapping providers, hosting providers, and payment processors.
These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
GlobeVis is not designed specifically for children under the age required to independently consent to online services in their jurisdiction.
GlobeVis does not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of providing its visitor visualization or YouTube audience visualization services.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, integrations, legal requirements, or third-party API requirements change.
